Allan R. Marshall, MEd CFRM, is Chief Development Officer at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University, leading philanthropy efforts in College Station and Washington, D.C. Over his 19-year career in nonprofit management and education philanthropy, he has raised more than $100 million and held leadership roles in higher education, healthcare, and with the Bush Family, the presidential family, at the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation. A Baylor graduate with a Master of Education from Dallas Baptist University and a fundraising certificate from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy (where he also teaches), Allan has been recognized as one of Arkansas’s “2023 Men of Distinction,” was one of the first minority student body officers at Baylor, received a city proclamation in Waco for civic engagement, and co-authored a published article in the Journal of Mental Health Training, Education and Practice. He also serves nationally as a consultant, is active in professional associations, and is married with one son.
