Valerie A. Bender, Associate – Logistics
Valerie Bender brings a wide range of skills to Johnson, Grossnickle and Associates and is an essential member of the team. As the proverbial grease that keeps the wheels of Johnson, Grossnickle & Associates turning smoothly, she serves as an administrative assistant: scheduling appointments, travel arrangements, client training and other administrative tasks.
Valerie arrived at JGA in January of 2006 after a storied career throughout the United States, including work in New York and southern California. She started her career after learning to program at the Suffolk Technical Institute in Bayshore, NY, and initially worked as an accounting data processing supervisor. From there, she moved to San Diego where she served as a Marketing Administrator while beginning work on an AAS – Business Administration / Management degree at Cuyamaca College. Eventually, Valerie moved to Indianapolis where she began working for JGA and finished her degree. All told, Valerie has over 15 years of experience working as an office manager/administrator.
Outside of JGA, Valerie devotes significant time to other philanthropic endeavors. Currently, she coaches youth soccer and volunteers in a variety of education-related functions at local schools.
