Ernie Vargo interviewed for article on family giving
The November 21 issue of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s article on passing down philanthropic habits to the next generation includes comments from Ernie Vargo of JGA. The article, “Rallying around Charity” describes the notion of educating children and youth on the value of giving–in the context of the Van Riper Woodard Family Foundation charity road rally. Woodard explains that he gets involved in the charities they support–along with their entire family. Vargo talked about the fact that giving is not “automatic” today; that it must be taught and experienced at home.
