JGA is proud to be a Bronze Sponsor of the 17th Annual Symposium of The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University in August. This year the Center partnered with The National Center for Black Philanthropy to bring together various experts to provide insight and thoughtful discussion on giving practices and perspectives in the black community. Topics included: historical patterns of black philanthropy; research on giving; faith-based community initiatives; stories of personal philanthropy; and grant maker and fundraiser perspectives on black philanthropy.
